Vacancy Details:
- £13.76 - £15.25
- 7:45 AM to 8 PM (day shift) / 7:45 PM to 8 AM (night shift) - must be flexible for days or nights
- Days availability is a must
- Nights availability is a must
Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered support to individuals in their daily routines, helping them achieve their personal goals.
- Assist with activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, personal care, and medication administration.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any changes in service users' needs or behaviour.
- Support individuals to access their local community and build meaningful relationships.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a support worker or care role is desirable but not essential - full training provided.
- A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with service users.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins if required.
- A valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
