Part-time Education Lawyer

Sellick Partnership is pleased to be working with a highly regarded London Local Authority to recruit an experienced Education Lawyer to join them on a part-time basis, for 3 days per week., The Education Lawyer role is available on a 3 month initial contract, with the likelihood of being extended further. The council is ideally looking for a candidate who can attend the office once per week, but this may be negotiated based on experience and location., * Advising upon and preparing cases in relation to SEND cases

• Appearing on behalf of the Council before the SEND Tribunal

• Preparing proceedings in relation to Schools and Academies

• Mentoring and training colleagues on education matters
