This is a full-time permanent contract located in our Edinburgh city centre office. You'll enjoy a standard workweek of 35 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The salary is £23,500pa.

What the job involves for an End of Tenancy Property Manager:

  • Manage the end of tenancy process to a satisfactory conclusion for both landlord and tenant.
  • Establish liability for property dilapidations by reviewing end of tenancy reports and discussing with both tenants and landlords.
  • Recommend and advise landlords on possible property upgrades and improvements to maximise rental return and ensure the property is maintained to a high standard between tenancies.
  • Raise maintenance tickets through the management software, setting deadlines for completion.
  • Compile and submit evidence for deposit claims through Safe Deposit Scotland portal.
  • Focus on excellent customer service and ensure a satisfactory conclusion to the end of tenancy process for our clients.
  • Responsible for ensuring that properties are ready with all work completed for new tenancies.
  • Handle customer service complaints and manage them to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Quality control on the inventory & check out reports provided by the Property Manager to ensure high standards are met consistently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be comfortable having difficult conversations.
  • An eye for detail to ensure dilapidations at the end of tenancy are allocated correctly.
  • Build and manage good client relationships.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure landlord and tenant satisfaction at all times.

  • Ideally previous Property Management experience but not essential.
  • Can demonstrate good negotiation/communication skills and be very competent in resolving conflict and potential disputes – both written and verbal.
