Your new companyOur client is a reputable contractor committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance joiner to join our team on a temporary basis.
Your new roleYour responsibilities will include both the installation and maintenance of building fabric in residential properties, including;

  • Perform general joinery, including fixing issues with existing building fabric.
  • Install new building fabric as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building fabric.
  • Respond to emergency joinery issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • What you’ll need to succeedOur client is looking for joiners whose background is maintenance joinery and are comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience in maintenance joinery in residential as well as commercial properties.Main requirements:

    • Proven experience as a maintenance joiner
    • Relevant joinery qualifications (e.g. NVQ level 3 in carpentry)
    • Valid UK driving licence
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Good time management and organisational skills
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
