The East of Scotland KTP Centre is a collaboration between 6 member universities to raise awareness and facilitate the establishment of new Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.

As the Centre Project Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of our KTP Centre, ensuring the smooth facilitation, promotion, processing, and monitoring of Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programmes across our six partner universities. Based at Edinburgh Napier University, you will work from our Merchiston Campus, with the flexibility of hybrid working. This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with strong administrative and financial management skills. You will liaise with higher education institutions and industry partners, providing essential project administration and financial oversight to help drive successful partnerships. Travel throughout the UK to partner universities and KTP company locations will be required to foster collaboration and maintain effective project operations. On occasion some work outside normal working hours may be required. Additionally, the post holder may be required to assist with events.

Who we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience of having provided administrative support to multiple projects.
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills, including use of Excel at advanced level and competence with Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of financial administration.
  • Experience of committee servicing including minute taking.
  • Work experience in both academic and company environments.
  • Ability to influence without authority.

Additional information:

  • Permanent, part time 22 hours per week.
  • Salary: £25,733 - £30,805 pro rata.
