About the role
It’s exciting and busy times at Churchill Estates Management (CEM) as we look to expand our friendly Service Charge Accounts Administration team. We are looking to appoint a Service Charge Accounts Supervisor to oversee the Service Charge team, based here in Ringwood. You’ll support the Head of Service Charge, the wider Service Charge team and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of Service Charge accounts for retirement developments across the UK.
Working within the Finance department, this role is varied in its responsibilities and will include:
- Supervising a team of accounts administrators and seniors to ensure day to day responsibilities are fulfilled and wider goals of the team are accomplished
- Acting as first point of contact and resolving complex queries about Lodge accounts across the wider team; being a 'subject matter expert'
- Supporting with onboarding and offboarding of Lodges / Developments and their associated accounts.
- Assisting with reliable estimated budgets for developments, liaising with the Regional and Area Management teams out in the field.
- Leading conversations with several direct reports to assist with personal development
About you
For this role, we seek someone with proven experience of working within a Service Charge Accounts team, with the relevant accounting systems, procedures and knowledge of property management. You would ideally have previous supervisory experience, otherwise be looking for this as a next step in your career. You will possess excellent organisation and communication skills, able to multi-task and prioritise workload with strong attention to detail. You’ll love working alongside an office-based team, and, as the Service Charge Accounts Supervisor, you’ll role-model professional attributes such as resilience, self-motivation, enthusiasm and initiative. Experience of Qube would be an advantage. You will be qualified to A-level standard and ideally, Level 3 IRPM. In addition, you will demonstrate excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook to an intermediate / advanced standard.
