We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established Civils Contractor on a contract basis in Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to manage diverse civil engineering and groundworks projects, ensuring smooth on-site operations, health & safety compliance, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site activities for civil engineering and groundworks projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations (SMSTS/SSSTS required).
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow.
- Monitor project progress, manage site teams, and resolve any on-site issues.
- Conduct regular site meetings and report to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in civils, infrastructure, or groundworks.
- SMSTS/SSSTS & CSCS Card (Essential).
- Strong leadership & problem-solving skills with excellent communication.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites in and around Birmingham.
