An opportunity has arisen for an experienced PCB Designer & CAD Processor to join a well-established company at the forefront of test solutions for assembled printed circuit boards. With a strong global reputation, they work with specialist PCB manufacturers and some of the world's most recognisable brands in automotive, technology, and telecommunications.

As part of the expanding PCB Design & CAD Processing team, you will be responsible for designing and processing multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer. You will collaborate closely with the testing and sales teams to ensure high-quality, efficient designs that meet both company and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and layout multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer
  • Create and maintain library parts and manage schematic capture
  • Work with the testing team to ensure compliance with company and customer standards
  • Generate information for quotations and liaise with the sales team
  • Run test-ability analysis reports and extract data from Gerber files
  • Process CAD information for customer quotations and software design files
Essential Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in PCB design
  • Strong proficiency in Altium Designer
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interpret technical data
