Well established retail business - Permanent position - Near Crawley RH10 - 38-hour contract - Day shifts only - Circa £27-29,500 salary + benefits.
We are working with this award winning multi-purpose retail outlet with several venues across the South of England, each venue has a large, high-volume on-site restaurant. These restaurants provide breakfast and lunch dining, operating between the core hours of 9am to 5pm on Mondays to Saturdays and between 10:00am and 4:00pm on a Sunday. The venue offers full breakfast service until 11.30am and then an array of hot food, served counter style, which includes fresh pizzas, home cooked pies and an on-site carvery.
You will oversee our counter service, the carvery, pizza oven and patisserie counter. A strong pastry background is also a requirement of this position. This role benefits from sociable hours with no split-shifts as well as alternate weekends off plus a day off in the week and only one late night a week.
Key responsibilities will include ensuring the highest standard of customer service is always delivered. You must be a team player and support the rest of the kitchen team during a busy service. This role is well suited to a self-motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be proactive and energetic and be able to work in a busy fast paced environment. Previous catering, patisserie and high-volume production experience is preferred.
