Mechanic / Vehicle Technician - The Role

As a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on modern cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair minor and major vehicle faults
  • Replace timing belts and clutches
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues
  • Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure roadworthiness
  • Provide clear, professional explanations of vehicle conditions to customers
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and maintain job cards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
