Im working with a well-established manufacturing business in London, and theyre looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Leader to manage a small team of 3 Engineers. This role is all about keeping production running smoothly, minimising downtime, and ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.

If you have strong electrical and mechanical skills, experience in FMCG or high-speed production, and a proven track record leading a team, this could be a great next step.

The Role

  • Overseeing and prioritising maintenance tasks to keep downtime to a minimum
  • Managing and mentoring a small team, leading by example and offering support
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory maintenance and safety requirements
  • Managing contractors and suppliers for external work on-site
  • Providing on-call support to your team when needed
  • Working with boilers, compressors, conveyors, and shrink-wrap machines

What Theyre Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering or completed apprenticeship
  • Electrical bias with strong mechanical skills
  • Experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Previous leadership experience, comfortable managing a small team
  • A hands-on approach, not afraid to get involved when needed
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work in a KPI-driven environment
  • Right to work in the UK
