Assist with the development and implementation of pupils’ individual learning and behaviour plans and programmes.
Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a positive role model and being aware of and responding to pupils’ individual needs.
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
Set challenging and demanding expectations to promote self-esteem and encourage pupils to become independent learners.
Assist with providing feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement.
To physically support students as they walk, push students in wheelchairs and operate manual handling.
To support students with personal/intimate care
To support students in a swimming/hydrotherapy pool

We are looking for learning support assistants who would be keen to work with SEN or SEMH pupils.
These pupils may struggle to build and maintain relationships and find it difficult to engage positively in educational settings like the classroom. They may act out due to fear, whether because they feel anxious or they struggle to understand the environment around them. You will be working with students who may exhibit challenging behaviours., Reliability, enthusiasm, and initiative
