We are looking for an interim Head of Estates for an Education Organisation experiencing an exciting period of growth. You will join the Senior Management team with excellent exposure to Directors within the organisation.

The Head of Estates position provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the Trust and will cover all areas of a varied school estate – which includes two Grade II listed buildings:

  • Manage all aspects of the Trust’s estate
  • Provide long-term comprehensive and integrated resource planning for the Trust
  • Provide effective leadership and management of health, safety and environmental matters for the Trust
  • Support the achievement of the Trust’s key corporate objectives in the development of the estate
  • Ensure well managed and operationally effective systems and processes relating to all aspects of its activities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant senior management experience in estates and facilities management
  • Understanding of general management techniques in a large and complex organisation and be able to manage complex property estates and facilities portfolios
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety and practices
