Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for a well-established medium-sized consultancy looking for an Associate Director or Technical Director in the Infrastructure sector.
This consultancy is seeking an experienced leader in the infrastructure sector due to an expanding workload. This role will take a pivotal position in leading an established team in delivering highways and infrastructure schemes in both the public and private sectors. You will be leading and working on projects such as regeneration schemes, Development Infrastructure, Local authority frameworks, National Highways, and a variety of projects for private developers.
This role presents a great opportunity for someone with extensive experience in the sector, who is looking for a new challenge, to join a supportive business with a real focus on client delivery. You will be part of a current team of 10 Civil Engineers of all levels with the ability to grow as seen fit.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the development and delivery of projects
- Managing an existing client base while being able to grow and develop new relationships
- Having business development experience, tender writing, and winning work
- Acting as the discipline lead for larger framework projects
- Supporting the leading Directors in the management of the office
Minimum Requirements:
- Incorporated or Chartered Engineer
- Multi-disciplinary project and team management skills
- Ability to generate new business and network
- Experience in client management
- Ability to carry out, review, and check technical agreements including S278 and S38 agreements
- Liaison with clients, local authorities, statutory bodies, and other third parties, including external design team members
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write project and technical reports
- Experience of working within project teams
- Supervising and guiding your team and other junior teams
- Working to deadlines, within budget and to programme
