Location: Resource should be Glasgow based. Hybrid - Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

Mode of Work: 5 days a week in the office.

Project: We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the 'Payments Development Centre' project. My client is a well-established financial institution that provides a range of banking and financial services to its customers.

Requirement:

  • JAVA (Knowledge of JAVA 17 or certification Mandatory)
  • Spring Boot
  • JPMC experience preferable
  • Core JAVA/CI-CD pipeline preferable

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
  • You will be expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform, and be responsible for team decisions.
  • Additionally, you will engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions, as well as provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java is required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in CI/CD, Spring Boot, Terraform, and Architecture are recommended.
  • Develop innovative solutions to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
