Job Description Immigration Caseworker – (Legal Aid & Privately Funded) Salary £32,000 – £40,000 City of London An award winning and friendly Legal 500 firm based in the city centre and recognised in multiple directories for their immigration work is looking for an established immigration caseworker to join their busy team. They offer a diverse caseload of private and legal-aid immigration matters, with the focus of this role being private appeal matters but including visa applications, leave to remain and European applications, asylum cases, trafficking cases, bail applications, judicial reviews and other matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a caseworker develop their career in a friendly firm offering competitive renumeration. Responsibilities: Conducting immigration cases (predominantly private appeal matters) from initiation to conclusion. Assisting partners and senior lawyers with their caseload of files dealing effectively with a variety of matters. Input and assist with the development of the department. Dealing directly with clients and maintaining the highest standard of care, taking instructions and ensuring full compliance. Managing applications to the LAA when necessary. Attending court hearings and representing clients in immigration hearings.
