Our regional/global matrix structure allows for flexible responses to challenges in the core areas of: Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Fraud, Bribery & Corruption, Investigations & Intelligence, Monitoring & Screening, and Risk Assessment.

The team delivers Financial Crime advice, including AML, to the business and receives escalations from the business for review and resolution ensuring the Bank complies with applicable AFC legislation/regulation and its global Policies and Procedures.

Your key responsibilities
- Ensure the AFC control framework remains proportionate and appropriate for the Bank's emissions trading activities.
- Ensure Management Information (MI) is produced, analysed, and presented to relevant governance committees and Deutsche Bank management.
- Review all clients that are on-boarded to trade emissions, to monitor, assess, and ensure that appropriate Know Your Client/due diligence is being applied to these relationships.
- Complete reviews and assessments of any future emissions trading-specific 'New Product Approval/New Transaction Approvals' that would result in changes or expansions to the business.
- Provide dedicated support on all current and future commodity-specific initiatives.
Your skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of the AFC legal and regulatory landscape; understanding of European Union tax legislation and 'facilitation of tax evasion' offences would be beneficial.
- Ability to analyse, understand, and make recommendations on key AFC matters.
- Knowledge of Investment Banking/Global Markets businesses and associated products.
- An experienced communicator to all levels of the business, and other key stakeholders.
- Able to address and work collaboratively with peers across the organisation.
