Employer Engagement Officer to engage with local employers to secure employment, training and work placement opportunities. Fixed term contract until March 2025 with possibility of extension Split between the Burnley and Pendle sites To provide local labour market information and statistics, and work alongside the employment team to align training and skills development and job brokerage to local labour market trends and opportunities. To develop partnership working with Employer Coalitions, Chambers of Commerce and employer representative bodies Develop and manage key employer and partner relationships, employer engagement management information Develop and manage effective delivery of employer programmes and engagement activity. Support the recruitment process utilising knowledge of the employer and working alongside the employment team to maximise opportunities for clients to secure . Work to and achieve set targets, i.e. numbers on non regulated activity and job outcomes. Assist in coordinating events to promote our employability offer. To undertake visits and meetings out of hours as and when required. Work with the Communications Team to produce publicity relating to employment and training programmes, especially in respect of good news stories. Identify and harness local, regional and national initiatives that deliver new opportunities access employment/training opportunities. Develop working relationships with other professionals working in the field of employment, welfare and training sector. Be responsible for maintaining a referral and tracking system that will provide statistical information on performance to contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the programmes. Maintain detailed electronic case records and administrative systems in line with Data Protection requirements for both internal and external funders.
