Are you passionate about developing coaching talent and driving excellence in women’s football? Birmingham City Women’s Football Club is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Coaching to lead our Women’s Department.

Key Focuses

Coach Development: Enhance the skills of coaches within the Women’s Pathway, aligning with the club’s philosophy and identity.

Methodology: Establish and implement consistent coaching methodologies and principles across all age groups and teams.

Program Excellence: Deliver top-tier coaching programs for Academy Coaches, Emerging Talent Centre Coaches (ETC), and assistant coaches in the First Team.

Scope of Duties:

  1. Develop a unified coaching philosophy that reflects the club’s vision and values.
  2. Design and deliver each Coach’s Competency Framework.
  3. Observe and support coaches in various environments, ensuring best practices.
  4. Collaborate with departments such as data insights, sports science, sports psychology, education, and performance analysis.
  5. Manage phase leads, conduct appraisals, and set yearly objectives.
  6. Implement CPD programs for coaches and the wider MDT.
  7. Build and maintain partnerships to support coach development.
  8. Ensure compliance with auditing processes and club policies.

  4. EFAiF
  5. FA Safeguarding certification
  6. UEFA PRO License
  7. Coaching-related degree
  8. QTS
  9. Leadership Qualification

  11. Valid Driving Licence

Terms of Appointment:
