Responsibilities:
- This post will provide general operational management and business support to the Emergency Department.
- Ensure effective processes and procedures are in place to facilitate patient admissions to the correct ward and assure effective care.
- Develop and embed the use of Ambulatory care as part of the Emergency Department.
- Provide strong and effective leadership to specific clinical and non-clinical teams and individuals.
- Support the establishment of a clear vision for these specific work areas with senior colleagues to create a working environment that empowers staff to achieve optimal performance.
- Contribute to the wider management of the Directorate and of the Trust on specific projects and transformation as and when appropriate.
