Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, working closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates, tenders, and budgets for major construction projects.
  • Conducting take-offs and producing accurate BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
  • Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
  • Identifying potential risks and value engineering opportunities within estimates.
  • Working closely with the pre-construction and project teams to ensure alignment between estimating and project delivery.
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, material costs, and industry regulations.
  • Supporting the development of bid proposals and tender submissions.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Proven experience with major projects as a Construction Estimator within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
