We’re on a truly exciting journey of growth and transformation – we’re going places! This is where you come in.
The Opportunity:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our product teams to deliver insightful analytics that drive and expand our partnerships. Your work will encompass everything from conducting journey analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing user experience, to visualising digital and commercial data that highlights channel performance in a comprehensive way.
With access to extensive data, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our data strategy, working closely with the team and Tech Leads as we transition to platforms like Snowflake.
You’ll be a key partner to the Product Manager, supporting the broader Product Analytics team and helping to define the direction of our work.
As a senior contributor, you’ll actively engage with both your immediate team and the broader Analytics community. You’ll generate actionable insights, presenting them through compelling storytelling and visualisation, while also helping to elevate the team’s capabilities in these areas. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving informed decisions that support the growth of our commercial partnerships.
What You’ll Get Up To:
-
KPIs and Performance: Analyse ongoing performance and digital data trends to provide key insights.
-
Journey Analytics: Dive deep into customer interactions with our digital products, identifying behaviors linked to conversion goals. You’ll uncover high-value opportunities through data and influence stakeholders to act.
-
Data Enrichment: Work with product teams and implementation specialists to enhance and enrich event tracking, ensuring our models meet current and future data needs, crucial for the growth of avios.com.
-
Funnel Diagnostics: Pinpoint friction points and leakages in the user journey. You’ll provide data-driven solutions to stakeholders, helping them optimise and mitigate future risks.
-
Experimentation: As our digital data capabilities grow, you’ll play a vital role in IAGL’s experimentation roadmap. You’ll guide best practices in hypothesis building, experiment setup, monitoring, and analysis.
-

-
SQL Proficiency: Good working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write scripts from scratch.
-
Google Analytics and Data Visualisation: Highly proficient in Google Analytics with experience building dashboards using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
-
Autonomous Problem Solving: Enjoy working autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating an ability to problem-solve with a customer-centric approach.
-
Multi-Disciplinary Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams with varying degrees of data literacy and needs. Experience working closely with product teams, effectively collaborating, and providing constructive challenges.
-
Digital Analytics and Experimentation: Good understanding of digital analytics implementations and exposure to experimentation.
The role has a blended base, between our Central London office and home. We trust you to make the right decision about the type of work that is best done in each location. We expect you’ll achieve a 50/50 split between the two and there may be times where you’ll want to visit our other locations to tell their stories, too (fully reimbursed).
We Might Not Be Right For You If:
-
You only want to focus on your to-do list; we’re a small, high-performing team, we help each other to succeed.
-
You value perfection over fast iteration and progress; IAG Loyalty moves fast, we learn and iterate as we go; our environment isn’t right for everyone.
-
You’re looking to create but not build; this is an end-to-end role, you need to be comfortable owning your space, from ideation through to delivery and review.
If you think you have what it takes but don’t meet every single point above, please do still apply. We’d love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.
In Return You’ll Get Perks That Take You Places:
-
Access to non-contractual Annual Bookable Travel Concessions for you and up to 3 nominees.
