Job Description Responsibilities Integration playbook: Develop a comprehensive integration/separation playbook that aligns with the company’s objectives and maximizes value creation through simplifying the framework of tools, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of future integration/separation projects. Strategic Integration Planning: Drive, coordinate and execute integration/separation design activities (pre-deal) including structure, operating model, transitional services agreements, data, etc., to help realize the desired strategic rationale for the transaction and realization of synergies. Due-diligence: Lead and conduct thorough due diligence to assess the impact of integration/separation on all aspects of the business, including financial, operational, legal, and cultural factors with a focus on value. Program Management: Lead and manage integration/separation projects from planning through execution and post-implementation, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate and manage multifunctional teams in M&A transactions to deliver integration/separation planning. Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels including executive leadership, department heads, and external partners to ensure alignment, issue resolution, and building two-way trust. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address challenges during the integration/separation process, including legal, regulatory, and operational considerations. Change Management: Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth transitions including communication strategies, training programs, and support systems, minimizing disruptions across the organization. Reporting and progress tracking: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor progress and ensure successful integration/separation outcomes end to end to completion. Board and leadership reporting: Prepare and present integration proposals and updates to the board, investors, and leadership. M&A support: Work alongside the M&A deal team to ensure a seamless transition from the transaction execution phase into integration, conduct post-acquisition reviews, and feedback learning from previous transactions into the company’s processes for future acquisitions. Transformation: Support the Transformation Office on cross-functional strategic initiatives on an ad-hoc basis, which can range from process improvement, business systems harmonization, P&L improvement. Qualifications Requirements 8-12 years of experience in relevant roles and demonstrable experience in leading and managing integration/separation projects, M&A, or related roles, preferably in the software industry. Gravitas to be able to represent the company externally and with the company’s private equity owners. The ability to understand various operating models and how they are constructed interdependently and modeled. Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and driving cross-functional teams including strong project management skills, risk management, budgeting, and governance e.g., escalation management. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
