Are you an experienced leader with comprehensive expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) from origination through to construction delivery? Lower 48 Energy BESS Limited (L48) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team and help deliver our UK wide BESS construction programme. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of BESS projects from planning to handover, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-standard delivery. Ideally you will have experience of working with the National Grid, Independent Connection Providers (ICP), Independent Distribution Network Operators (INDO), and Distribution Network Operators (DNO). You should also possess strong stakeholder management skills and be able to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multi-disciplinary teams across various project stages.
- Handle the management of statutory consents.
- Develop and agree on phasing and programmes for project delivery.
- Take responsibility for the administration of projects.
- Establish and deliver best practice Project Management systems and controls.
- Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, forming strong working relationships with all stakeholders in true partnership.
- Drive best practice and continuous improvement within delivery teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven background in Project Management, specifically aligned with infrastructure developments.
- Extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- APM, ICE, or MRICS qualification.
- In-depth understanding of fundamental Project Management systems and procedures in the construction industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of different construction processes.
- Ability to deliver quality outcomes under time pressures.
- Recognised degree in a related discipline.
