Basic Salary: Up to £37,000

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Roadside Technician / Roadside Mechanic / Vehicle Technician/ Mobile Technician/ Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a Roadside Technician, you will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing vehicle issues. Your primary responsibilities will include providing emergency roadside assistance, diagnosing mechanical problems, and performing minor repairs on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to service calls from customers needing roadside assistance
- Diagnose vehicle issues and provide effective solutions
- Perform minor repairs, including battery replacements, tire changes, and lockout services
- Ensure customer safety and satisfaction at all times
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with customers
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
Qualifications and Experience:
- A current Category B driving licence is necessary
- NVQ Level 2 or similar type of accreditation in light vehicle maintenance
- Demonstrate empathy and a desire to always achieve the correct outcome.
- Experience of the Motor Repair industry (essential)
- Experience of lone working (desirable)
- Utilise and apply up-to-date vehicle repair techniques
- Display and utilise best practice and first-class Health & Safety behaviours
- Collaboration with dispatch team to improve the customer claims journey
- Use self-initiative
