About the Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join the Heathrow Community Rangers Team! As Heathrow expands its outreach efforts, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to become the 5th Community Ranger. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement and eager to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with local communities, schools, and stakeholders to support Heathrow's outreach programs.
  • Assist in planning and delivering community events and projects.
  • Represent Heathrow professionally while interacting with the public.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Travel to various locations as needed (a company vehicle may be provided).

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (required for work at local schools - provided and renewed annually by the company).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • A proactive and positive approach to community engagement.

Working Hours & Compensation

  • Salary: £14.18 per hour (subject to review on 1st May 2025).
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter (rarely required).
  • Annual Leave: 28 days per year.
  • Salary Payment: Weekly into a designated bank account.
