About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity to join the Heathrow Community Rangers Team! As Heathrow expands its outreach efforts, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to become the 5th Community Ranger. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement and eager to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with local communities, schools, and stakeholders to support Heathrow's outreach programs.
- Assist in planning and delivering community events and projects.
- Represent Heathrow professionally while interacting with the public.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Travel to various locations as needed (a company vehicle may be provided).
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (required for work at local schools - provided and renewed annually by the company).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- A proactive and positive approach to community engagement.
Working Hours & Compensation
- Salary: £14.18 per hour (subject to review on 1st May 2025).
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter (rarely required).
- Annual Leave: 28 days per year.
- Salary Payment: Weekly into a designated bank account.
