Type: Permanent, Full Time
Main Role:
- To operate designated machines, equipment and processes in line with SQCDP requirements.
- Be the Lead Operator of the designated manufacturing area, line or machine with full ownership and responsibility of SQCDP objectives including PPE Compliance.
- Report and escalate at Tier 3 on the performance of their area of responsibility using the SQCDP model and escalation procedures.
- Hour to hour leadership ensuring that all standard documentation relating to SQCDP is adhered to by team members including Hourly On/Off plan reporting to the PL and any recovery plans are identified that could be implemented.
- Ensure the effective utilisation and cost optimisation of all manning resources and consumables.
- Provide point of escalation from all operators within the relevant team for SQCDP.
- Supports and provides cover for the Process Leader in their absence.
- Ensure local communications are effectively cascaded with the team.
- Ensure MiQuest is utilised for all Engineering work required on the asset.
Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Comprehensive manufacturing experience in a complex, process environment.
Other requirements:
- In depth knowledge of production/technical processes and procedures, particularly with respect to SQCDP.
- Knowledge and experience regarding the application of structured problem solving methods.
- Excellent communication, planning and organising skills.
- Be a people person with a drive to succeed.
- Computer literate.
- In line with manufacturing experience be at a competent level, able to progress further within the business through driving one’s own personal development.
- Those within the Print Department must hold a minimum of Level 3 Print qualification.
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
