We are looking for a Swim Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of swim programs and wet-side operations at a fantastic leisure centre in West London.
The Role: As a Swim Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional swimming experience for all ages and abilities. Your role will involve managing swimming lessons, supervising lifeguarding teams, ensuring pool safety, and maintaining high operational standards. You will also be a key holder, responsible for the opening and closing of the site during designated shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all swimming lesson programs, ensuring high-quality instruction.
- Supervise and support a team of swim teachers and lifeguards.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Handle safeguarding concerns, health & safety incidents, and accident reporting.
- Teach swimming lessons across all stages.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing queries and concerns.
- Lead and motivate staff, ensuring performance targets are met.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must hold a Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or STA equivalent).
- Supervisory or management experience, with the ability to lead a team.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations in a wet-side environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or willingness to work towards it.
- First Aid at Work certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or STA equivalent).
