Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. We are looking for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for:
- Undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment.
- This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
- You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines.
- You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of manufacturer plants, for example, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG.
- Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer troubleshooting procedures, whilst also being comfortable with seeking manufacturer technical support autonomously is desirable.
- You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
To be successful for this Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer role you must have:
- Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
- You must have relevant qualifications e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent.
- Full current driving licence.
- Be willing to participate in an On-Call rota.
- Also, knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
