Data Delivery Director

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: As an experienced delivery director, bring shape, structure and prioritisation to a dynamic book of work. Lead engagement with senior stakeholders across all business lines to determine the inputs to a major technology deal.
• Cloud Solutions and Fin Ops: Leverage experience of cloud and finops best practice to challenge and support engagement with internal application teams, architects and third parties to drive optimum deal outcomes.
• Data Governance and Management: Design, establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the technology delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Communication: Ability to engage and lead conversations with the most senior of technology, finance and business line leaders.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to understand requirements, communicate progress, and address concerns effectively.

Qualifications Required:

• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing technology delivery and/or infrastructure/architecture management within Financial Services.
• Strong technical background with expertise in infrastructure, cloud technologies, and data management principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across departments and external partners.
• Demonstrated experience in managing technology budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
