The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are looking for a SEN Practitioner to take on the role as SEND practitioner and SENCO. They will be working with required children to support their needs. The role will also entail the responsibility to work as the SENCO within both settings, to support, assess, plan and monitor the progress of children with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with team and taking on the lead as the SENCO on a daily basis even in your absence of one of the settings
- Acting as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
- Advising and supporting other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
- Ensuring that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
- Ensuring that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated
- Keeping up to date with initiatives and best practice
- Working and liaising with appropriate professionals children are in contact with where necessary
