We are recruiting an experienced and qualified Adult Social Worker to support Care Act responsibilities across North and South Kirklees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Care Act assessments and reviews for adults aged 18+ within care home settings.
- Carry out Mental Capacity Assessments (MCAs) and Best Interest Decisions.
- Complete Safeguarding Enquiries and Responses, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance.
- Provide strengths-based, person-centred care planning options that promote wellbeing and independence.
Start Date: TBC
Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, daytime hours (flexible arrangements possible)
Location: Peripatetic role across North & South Kirklees
Pay Rate: In line with other Kirklees Social Work roles (awaiting confirmation)
