The school strives to provide a nurturing and effective learning environment and is committed to delivering high quality education. They pride themselves on being a popular, local community school where all staff have a strong relationship with the pupils and families. The school regularly raises money for local charities, which involves all of the pupils getting involved in fundraising events.
They are looking for a Year 4 Class Teacher with strong behaviour management skills to join them from April until the end of the academic year.
As a Year 4 Class Teacher you will be required to:
- Take on full Year 4 Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
- Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school
The ideal candidate for the Year 4 Class Teacher role will have:
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Recent KS2 experience, either within student placements or responsible for your own class
- A strong work ethic who is willing to commit until the end of the academic year
- UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
