Are you a dedicated Executive Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on taking tasks through to completion? We are delighted to be working in collaboration with an outstanding business, as they seek a talented EA to work alongside the Chief Executive & Directors.

As an individual, you need to have high attention to detail, the ability to work to tight and changing deadlines, a flexible and proactive attitude, first-class communication skills and polished presentation.

Your new employer: You will be working with a highly successful entrepreneurial couple, with offices in both Renfrewshire & Edinburgh, therefore applicants from either location are encouraged to apply. You’ll play a pivotal role in the operational side of the business, including managing and supporting staff. It is important to maintain a high level of discretion and be a strong organiser in both professional and personal work.

Responsibilities within your new role:

  • You will hold a vital role in the overall success of the business, with key duties including (but not limited to):
  • Act as the first point of contact for the CEO.
  • To maintain complex and committed short, medium and long-term diaries for CEO including scheduling internal, external meetings & booking travel.
  • Produce documents, reports and presentations as well as take clear and concise minutes at a variety of meetings.
  • Proactively maintain the brand of the CEO both inside and outside of the company.
  • Communicate on behalf of the Chief Executive to other stakeholders as required.
  • Assist with the provision of company secretarial and governance duties as required.
  • Providing charity board support.

Your personality, experience and qualifications: The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a similar-level strategic support role and environment. You should be educated to a degree level or equivalent, be tech savvy and have a strong understanding of the ever-changing nature of an entrepreneur's day. You will be one step ahead and enjoy supporting the overall success of the business. You will demonstrate confidence & competence and provide insights to important decision making. You will also support implementation of new systems & processes.
