We’re on the hunt for three superstar School Cooks to join a fantastic school catering team in Stockport! If you can whip up a storm in the kitchen and keep things running like a well-oiled (but healthy!) machine, we want to hear from you.

The Serious Stuff:

  • Part-time role: 25 hours per week
  • Hours: 9 AM – 2 PM, Monday to Friday (so your evenings & weekends are all yours!)
  • Hourly Rate: £13.26 to start
  • Enhanced DBS required (because, you know, schools & safety)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Cooking up nutritious, delicious meals for hungry students
  • Keeping stock in check (no running out of pasta on spaghetti day!)
  • Training new team members in kitchen wizardry & safety
  • Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean, safe, and up to scratch
  • Handling clerical bits (food orders, equipment, cleaning schedules, etc.)
  • Serving up smiles at special school events like PTA functions & theme days
  • Occasionally helping out at summer football schools and training

What We’d Love You to Have:

  • NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds Level 2 in Cookery or Bakery (or equivalent magic hands in the kitchen)
  • A passion for food and a knack for keeping things running smoothly
