Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in a Reception class in a popular primary school in Huntingdon. This role would start on a temporary basis but could turn permanent. This would be a full time position starting as soon as possible.

About the role

The school are ideally looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant however will accept applications from unqualified Teaching Assistants who have experience working with children. The successful candidate would be working within the Early Year Foundation Stage, doing some 1:1 work with children with SEND, as well more general TA work.

Requirements

  • To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant - Reception Class you will:
  • have experience of working with children
  • be able to provide two references to support your work with children
  • be able to provide a full clear DBS clearance
  • ideally have access to a car

Key responsibilities

  • As Teaching Assistant - Reception Class you will be responsible for:
  • To support within the EYFS and KS1 department
  • To support students with SEND
  • To work closely with the teachers and other supporting staff

Salary

£89 to £100 per day. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

To have experience supporting within a primary school or similar setting e.g. Nurseries and Pre-schools.
