Are you ready to kickstart your career in merchandising? Our client is seeking a dynamic Junior Merchandiser to join their vibrant Fashion Brands team.

Role Purpose

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing stocks and forecasting key lines on line cards
  • Placing repeats and working with brands on cancellations
  • Planning future ranges alongside the buying team
  • Managing the planning system to optimise stock and OTB
  • Building strong relationships with key brands
  • Producing and analysing weekly reports and information for meetings
  • Planning promotions and markdowns to maximise sales
  • Ensuring optimal stock flow while meeting warehouse targets
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, especially the Buying team
  • Training and developing your team in alignment with department objectives

Main Responsibilities

In this fast-paced role, you will be expected to:

  • Communicate department strategy and performance effectively to your team and senior management
  • Analyse data and present figures in meetings with senior management
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Kids & Accessories department

Person Requirements

  • Experience as a Junior Merchandiser or Senior Assistant Merchandiser in a retail Head Office
  • Self-motivation and a drive to achieve results
