Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a SEN High Needs Officer in Westminster. The SEN High Needs Officer will provide financial oversight, data management, and administrative support to ensure our SEND services are delivered effectively and sustainably. This is a Hybrid role (minimum two days per week in the locality).
Pay rate: £198.45 PAYE / £267.53 Umbrella per day
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and updating high needs top-up funding using the EBT funding matrix.
- Managing and maintaining finance systems and pupil funding databases.
- Creating and reconciling purchase orders and supplier agreements.
- Coordinating personal budget payments and overseeing invoice approval processes.
- Leading termly audits and financial reviews for schools and independent providers.
- Producing annual reports with analysis, benchmarking, and forecasting of high needs funding.
- Ensuring that finance-related casework information is up to date and accurate.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of SEND legislation and policy (e.g. Children and Families Act 2014, SEN Code of Practice 2015)
