We are recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer based at our client's workshop in Wickford, Essex. Our client offers their customers an all-in-one, go-to destination for vehicle and plant repairs and maintenance. They focus on keeping their customers happy through bespoke service and longstanding relationships, working with many nationally recognised companies.
Due to company growth, they are now recruiting for a Plant Engineer based at their Wickford workshop. Occasionally, you may need to go off site to work in the local area. You will be ensuring excellent customer service and a high standard of servicing and repairs for customers.
Services and repair work will be carried out on a variety of assets including but not limited to:
- Trailers
- Winches
- Dumpers
- Diggers
- Skimmers
- Telehandlers
- Manitou plus some smaller equipment
- Pallet trucks
- Pumps
Being LOLER trained is ideal, but training can be given. You will be required to have your own tools, but specialist tooling can be supplied if required, i.e. torque wrench and testing gauges.

Basic salary £36,000 plus up to £1,000 per quarter in bonuses (after probationary period).
