Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £17 - £20ph - 39 hours a week + overtime

A leading M&E Contractor based in Peterborough are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Electrician. They offer a comprehensive service undertaking installations, repairs and breakdowns, operating in a diverse range of sectors including public sector, healthcare, education, retail, government buildings, care homes, prisons and police stations. Project sizes will vary from large projects working within a team to smaller projects with pairs or solo working.

As an Electrician you will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the satisfaction of the client.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
  • Experience working within a similar environment – commercial and industrial.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations including AM2 (or equivalent).
  • Up to date 18th Edition Qualification (Amendment 3:2024).
  • C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • DBS check required.
