Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're on the lookout for a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will play a pivotal role in estimating and controlling costs for groundbreaking projects, ensuring that every structure meets both legal and quality standards. This is an exciting chance to be involved in all phases of a project, from inception through to completion.
If you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor based within a commutable distance of Warwickshire, then this could be of interest to you. YOUR NEW ROLE- Lead the preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other required reports
- Prepare valuations and payment applications, ensuring all documentation aligns with the contract
- Deliver detailed Cost Reports to clients with accurate, contractually compliant supporting documentation
- Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Oversee subcontractor and supplier accounts, from requisition preparation to authorising payments and agreeing on final accounts
- Take charge of contract administration, including managing changes and maintaining comprehensive registers
- Identify and assess commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering options, and changes
- Leverage costing systems to streamline processes and enhance decision-making
- Provide expert input to the preparation of internal commercial reports and other necessary documentation
- Hold relevant industry qualifications to back your expertise
- Commercially aware with deep knowledge of standard contracts and measurement methods
- Ability to negotiate, present, and influence effectively
- Experience in the construction or engineering sectors with a solid commercial background
- Proficient in NEC forms of contract
- A minimum of 2 years in a Senior role
- £60,000 - £85,000 basic annual salary (D.O.E)
- Car Allowance
