Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are currently recruiting personnel at all levels working in areas such as Histon, Cambridge, Duxford, Huntingdon, March, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, and Peterborough who are qualified, skilled, or experienced as:
- Installation & Maintenance Mechanical Engineers/Technicians/Fitters or Mechanical Fitters/Welders.
- Working on the installation or maintenance of production machinery & plant.
- Fitting mechanical systems such as gear boxes, shafts, belts, conveyors & machinery.
- Electrical Fitters working on the maintenance & installation of production machinery & plant, fitting cable tray, cables, wiring up etc.
- Ideally 17th or 18th Edition Electricians & Improvers/Mates working on industrial electrical installations.
Qualifications required may include C & G or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical/Pipe Fitting, Welding, or Electrical Engineering with 18th Edition. Skill Cards ideally include CSCS or ECS Card, and possibly IPAF Card.
Working Hours: 0700 to 1730, Monday to Friday, plus weekends as required, normally every other weekend unless on shutdown work.
Pay Rates:
- Skilled Pay: £26+ per hour (Mon to Fri), £30+ on Saturday, £34+ on Sunday, depending on skills & experience.
- Permanent Pay: £39,000 to £46,000+ p.a depending on role and shift pattern.
- Semi-Skilled & Mate Pay: £16+ per hour depending on skills & experience.
