Gap technical are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead and deliver high-quality CAPEX projects within a food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for flawless project execution, budget management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring 100% safety compliance and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality engineering projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
- Maintain a 100% safety record, ensuring zero accidents across all projects.
- Support the Project Engineering team in driving and delivering assigned projects.
- Manage CAPEX budgets, ensuring projects stay within financial limits and align with company objectives.
- Define project scope and prevent scope creep to maintain efficiency.
- Forecast and update spend profiles, ensuring accurate financial planning and control.
- Prepare and present project approval proposals for review at senior management levels.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and other support functions to follow best practices and compliance procedures.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
- Ensure strict compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and Legal Standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Recognised Engineering qualification (Degree or Equivalent).
- Health & Safety certifications (SMSTS, FAAW, IOSH preferred).
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to understand technical requirements and business processes quickly.
- Competent in MS Office and standard engineering applications.
- Highly organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
