Our client is a Worcestershire based, specialist nationwide service provider and is recruiting now for a Bookkeeper to join their growing Accounts & Finance department. The Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper will be responsible for supporting with payroll, expenses & payment enquiries as well as monitoring purchase ledgers.
Key candidate background needed:- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Good working knowledge of SAGE accounts
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong PC skills, especially with Microsoft
- Very strong attention to detail, organisational and financial accuracy skills
- Maintaining financial records
- Supporting the Finance Manager with accounting needs
- Managing employee expense claims (process and payment)
- Settling finance accounts
- Sales and purchase ledger administration
- Flexible working arrangements
- 20 days holiday entitlement, plus bank holidays (increasing with service)
- 4% pension
