Red Snapper Group are recruiting for a Junior Account Manager to join our Public Sector recruitment team.

Business Overview

The Red Snapper Group is a market leading recruitment, media, events, and education services provider within the law enforcement, cyber security, offender supervision and regulatory services markets.

Role Overview

The Junior Account Manager will oversee candidate and client management, ensuring effective interviews, candidate sourcing, and contractor support. This role requires strong leadership skills, an ability to manage various priorities and capitalise on customer relationships to develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate sourcing research - using open source research tools / LinkedIn
  • Managing contractors in post and supporting with redeployment where required
  • Responding to new roles released from clients
  • Conducting database searches, matching candidates to available positions
  • Providing candidate profiles to the relevant client
  • Visiting clients to build and develop relationships
  • Developing a good understanding of the market, client companies, what they and their company values
  • Processing vetting material - Reference / Criminal Record Bureau / Security Clearance
  • Identifying opportunities to grow business with existing clients

Person Specification

  • Experience of working in a similar role for at least 3 years
  • Degree educated or equivalent, ideally but not essential
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience within the recruitment sector
  • Experience of working in a public sector environment, ideally but not essential
  • Experience of winning new business
  • Demonstrate success in a previous target environment
  • Commercially astute
  • Ambitious, tenacious with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage a large number of priorities a week
