The predicted salary is between 54000 - 62400 £ per year.
We have teamed up with a local council based in the East Midlands, who are looking to appoint a Gas Engineer/Plumber on a three month temporary contract. This will be a full-time position paying £26.00 - £28.00 per hour on a CIS basis. The successful candidate must have their own van for the role, be gas safe registered and hold the relevant qualifications. You must also have experience in domestic properties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Undertaking a range of service and maintenance works, repairing or replacing items to maintain properties to a high standard
- Producing gas safety certificates and ensuring all properties have up to date certification
- Conducting responsive and planned plumbing works within tenanted properties
- Completing detailed work reports and ordering required materials
- Carrying out servicing and repairs of boilers, cylinders and pumps
- Diagnosing faults and rectifying in a prompt and appropriate manner
Expertise required:
- Must be gas safe registered with CCN1 & CENWAT
- Have the relevant NVQ L2 qualification
- Ideally have worked within a social housing setting
Working hours: 37 hours, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
