Commercial Gas Engineer

Commercial Gas Engineer £47,500 – £50,000 + Door to Door Glasgow Winner Recruitment are currently working with a Service provider who focus on hard services within the Facilities management sector across commercial sectors. They are looking to recruit for a Commercial Gas Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems across Scotland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment, in various working sectors. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards. Duties: * As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will Install, maintain, and repair all types of gas heating and plumbing systems in commercial settings. * You will conduct regular inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas systems * As a Commercial gas engineer, you will diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs. * You will assemble components as needed for various projects. * As a commercial gas engineer, you will need to understand, complete all work-related documentation accurately on time and to exceed the customers’ expectations. * You will collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently. * You will maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. * Always adhere to health and safety regulations. * You will at times have to work away during Mon-Thursday Candidate: * As a commercial gas engineer you will need the relevant qualifications e.g. COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW. * Ideally the candidate will hold LPG & Oftec * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. * Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fault find issues effectively. * A good general experience in working in occupied premises. * Clear communicator both oral and written. * A customer focused approach
