Bailey Partnership are seeking a number of experienced Fire Safety Surveyors who will play an integral role in delivering FRAEW/EWS1 external wall surveys across the UK. Bailey Partnership is a professionally accredited, building top 150 consultancy, offering a true multi-disciplinary service. Since 1971, Bailey Partnership have been lucky enough to work with clients across the UK and Europe, striving always to build meaningful and enduring relationships.
The role will typically involve undertaking intrusive surveys of external wall systems to assess combustibility and spread of flame which requires surveyors to have a good understanding of building technology/pathology. Bailey Partnership will provide internal training and enrol the candidate onto the RICS EWS1 Assessment course.
You’ll be an excellent fit for this position if you can meet the following criteria:
- Professional membership with RICS, CABE, CIOB, RIBA or similar
- Excellent building pathology or building technology knowledge
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
You may have experience or knowledge of fire safety in buildings, FRAEW/EWS1 training or cladding, however this is not essential to be considered for this position.
Bailey Partnership is respected for looking after their people, training and development is at the heart of their success. This role will offer a starting salary of between £50,000 - £65,000 dependent on level of experience. You’ll have access to a contributory company pension scheme and generous annual leave contribution.
By nature, this role will involve travel to site location, at other times you’ll be set-up to work remotely from home, however, you may also need to meet with your team or work from an office, at which point you could work from any of Bailey Partnership’s network of offices.
