An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Quality Control Administrator / SAP Master Data Specialist to join a leading organisation in the chemical manufacturing sector. This role involves managing SAP QM modules, overseeing quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Production teams to maintain high-quality standards and improve operational efficiency.
Who Would This Job Suit? This role is ideal for an experienced SAP user with experience in Quality departments working with the Quality module within SAP S/4HANA. The successful candidate should have excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Using SAP S/4HANA, you will focus on the Quality module of SAP.
- Manage SAP QM module, including the creation and maintenance of master data such as Inspection Methods, Inspection Plans, and Certificates of Analysis.
- Oversee the approval process for raw materials, ensuring supplier Certificates of Analysis meet required specifications.
- Handle Inspection Lot Management, including result recording and usage decisions within SAP.
- Support quality control processes by monitoring the QC inbox, addressing queries, and proactively resolving issues.
- Raise and receipt purchase requisitions within SAP, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
Requirements:
- Strong experience using SAP S/4HANA.
- Excellent Administration and IT skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with the Quality Module within SAP highly desirable, but not essential.
- Understanding of Quality processes within Manufacturing.
Location: Ellesmere Port
Contract: 6 months+
Pay: £15 - £18 per hour (negotiable dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible working hours + Hybrid working.
