Working in a close-knit team of four, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless client interactions, from the initial enquiry through to final delivery.
Role OverviewWhat to Expect:
- Use SAP to manage orders from initial processing to invoicing and dispatch.
- Handle orders from a diverse range of public sector and commercial scientific organisations across the UK and Ireland.
- Respond to customer queries, primarily via email, with occasional phone interactions.
- Manage and resolve price discrepancies.
- Process complex orders, including bespoke deliveries, special requirements, and specifications.
- Coordinate with courier companies and clients regarding special delivery requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams, including finance, logistics, account management, and the US-based manufacturing team.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance satisfaction.
- Utilise ChatGPT and AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to ISO standards and procedures.
- Confident user of SAP software with experience in order management.
- Proficient in Excel, CRM systems, Teams, e-commerce platforms, and live chat.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of supply chain challenges.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to take initiative and collaborate effectively.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to service excellence.
- Experience in supply chain, order fulfilment, operations, logistics, or customer support within a commercial environment.

- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
- Location: Office-based with some flexibility
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
